Would Annie’s rival go this far to replace her as leader? Or has someone taken a life to stop the cause of women’s lib?
Then Mabel uncovers what happened to Annie’s closest comrade in the years before the war, and she is sure the answers lie in the past. But will Mabel be elected as the killer’s next victim? Or can she crack the case and save the fight for Votes for Women?
La 4ème comme souvent pour ces “cosy mystery” est attirante, mais un peu à côté (un peu obligé), et malheureusement c’est la plus faible des 4 de la série. J’ai lu les 3 autres dans la période où je notais vaguement l’an passé, et ils étaient quand même mieux.
Sur The StoryGraph il y a une review un peu négative, mais c’est la plus proche de ce que j’ai ressenti. Ce livre n’a pas cliqué pour moi comme les précédents. J’ai eu du mal à rentrer dedans parce qu’il manque carrément une introduction pour moi, et l’épilogue semble clore la série mais de façon bien trop rapide. Genre elle en avait marre de la série et a conclu l’aspect romance pour satisfaire.
Dommage.
